How to maximize the rental business by looking at the various opportunities in the market: 
Assume that you are a product manager at a furniture rental company. Conduct a survey to understand user needs/demands in furniture rental space.
Objectives: 
1) To understand the reasons for renting furniture 
2) To understand what kind of items would users want to rent
Hypothesis:
1) Tenants who change cities/houses often are open to rent furniture instead of buying 
2) Majority of people face difficulty (different problems) in shifting furniture while relocating 
3) Price is the most important factor when considering to rent furniture 
4) Tenants who stay with friends and cannot afford to buy particular expensive categories of furniture such as sofa sets, dining tables etc. are open to rent it if it’s affordable 
5) People would prefer to rent furniture combo packages, rather than rent furniture items alone
Target Audience:
People between the ages of 24 and 35 living in Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore. Please note that you can assume a target audience with a wider age group and from different regions. 
Calculating the sample size:
Calculate the sample size taking the confidence interval as 95%, the margin of error as 
10%, and the response rate as 10%.

Insights:
1. People select the furniture that is suitable for their apartment
2. People are not likely to Rent online furniture, as they may not get the expected value 
for the same.
3. People with income group of 10K - 40K, prefer buying the furniture over renting it.
4. They treat it as a one-time investment.
5. They are not sure if it is worth renting it over buying.
6. Not many have tried the rental option as they are comfortable with the traditional 
buying option
